Bringing technology firms out is still an art. Some best practices are the same, but I thought to ask this group what is new, and what has worked recently in the area of software technology. Thanks in advance.

I think you are going to need to define your terms just a bit better and provide some detail.

More specifically, what do you mean by bringing a firm out? Out of where to do what? What is your target market? Are you talking about marketing the company from a branding standpoint or a given piece of software? Is the company a newbie? Do they have a budget? What is their goal and what does their agenda look like? What kind of competition is there and how strong is it? Are these emerging markets or are you trying to break into established markets where the competition is well-entrenched? Do you have a business plan in place? Do you have experienced management? These are VERY important questions.

No offense intended but your query above is kind of like asking what's the best software? For whom, for what?

The question is in the PR/advertising area and the goal is getting noticed and on the short list by prospects responsible for Siebel CRM as well as contact centers. "Decent" budget and F500 customer successes. Entrenched competition by large vendors, but the firm has distinct functionality advantages with rapid ROI. Experienced management team with set business plan.
