There Are Missed Opportunities In Marketing Products Because They Should Be Unisex But Somehow They Are Marketed As One Sex-products, Why Is That So?

There is a tendancy by some marketers to market unisex product as one gender products. This can be viewed as a missed opportunity. What is that that they are missing during the marketing process and why do they miss that?
