Congratulations Marketing Profs - 10,000 Posts!

Posted by Anonymous on 500 Points
Could not resist myself, when I saw that the last post was the 10000th One...
Though I am a younger member in this forum, I consider myself pretty fortunate to hit the 10K button.
Congratulations to each one of you, especially the SMEs who are regulars here, and the moderators.... an excellent job indeed...

The journey to this magic figure must have been tough, but its great to be a part of it.

Another milestone added, and yet another feather in the "Marketing" Cap of Marketing Profs! :-)

Congratulations again, and all the best wishes for the Good Times ahead!

:-)

Regards,
Puru

That’s quite some achievement. I’m quite new here, but I have probably learned more useful information and tips in the short space of time that I’ve been a member through MarketingProfs than I have in the previous 5 years through membership of other forums. (Or is that fora?!)

Back in the 1980’s we subscribed to a first class professional sales magazine which had excellent articles and a reader’s questions and answer page. It was eagerly read due to the quality of the articles and the usefulness of the advice. I think that the scale of achievement for MarketingProfs is brought home in that in 10 years, that publications only managed to publish about 500 answers to reader’s queries and around 1200 articles which were comparable in length and quality of content to the contributions I read here, today. Daily!

    Well done everyone.

I'm new to the forum here, but already I'm very impressed with the quality of answers given out and the activity of the top people here. There really is a great collection of advice being given out--and hopefully taken as well!

Thanks for the great resource. I hope I'll be able to contribute some to pay back all the great learning I'm already gleaning!

I think the quality is more impressive than the quantity.

Allen and crew set the tone with a really high quality newsletter each week. The KHE forum is a way for people who need help understanding some facet of marketing, or getting some help with a marketing problem, to tap into the collected wisdom of the community.

All that said, 10,000 is still a nice round number ... and one of which we can be proud.

Michael's right, the quality is awesome.

But so is the quantity, especially having regard for the quality. That's more posts than the rabbit-proof fence!

One wonders how many more new questions there are out there - and whether all people really need to do is search the question database...

Congratulations Val, Allen, Roy, Carrie, Ann, Shelley and the whole team. Quite an impressive milestone.

I bet we look back in the future at the 100,000 milestone and say all the same stuff!

Just let me add my ten pence/cents-worth of congratulations to everyone involved - members of the MarketingProfs team and KHE contributors to the forum alike!

As an "old" member of the forum but recently only an intermittent contributor (the day-job got in the way!) I've noticed the large numbers of new contributors in the last few months - that suggests to me that KHE will go from strength to strength. Personally, I'm proud to be part of that.

    Congratulations to us!

    Bob
