Help Name My Boutique Please!!!!!!

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am opening a clothing boutique in Madison, Mississippi that will focus on 18-28 year old women. We will sale designer jeans, trendy clothes and accessories. I have a couple of names in mind. Please pick the one you like best, why, and that you don't like about the others. Also I am COMPLETELY open to any suggestions you might have for another name. Here are the main 2 I have.. "Miss Chaos" & "Just a Girl". I also have thought of "Vixen", "Sublime Culture" and "Be-In". Please help!!! I have to have this soon!!!!

I like Vixen, I see more potential in creating a brand identity out of it vs the other names you dropped. The other names also seem dated in my oppinion. Vixen is timeless.

Have you thought of "MissMadisonMississipi" and you could have M-Cube as a short name. Infact having a mnemonic always helps increase recall- sometime later you can run a promotion asking people to guess which M stands for what?

Miss Chaos: (MC)Well with 18-28 as your tgt segment- this shd work especially since anything chaotic is fun.

Just a Girl: (JaG)Too tame- assuming that everyone who wants to wear your clothes wants to transcend from being Just to girl to Vixen!

Vixen: love it- is there anyway you can add Bizarre ?

Sublime Culture: (SC) Classy, gives a corporatish feeling.
Be-In: Nope. Too "in your face"

    Kat Sass

Sort of like the 'Cat's Pajamas' but a little sharper or edgier.

Maybe vary a bit... Vixey kinda sound cool.

    Miss Vixey Cash

    Vixey Miss

Madison's strong Socio-Economic numbers per capita and the International sounding name preferences you have suggested here and in previous MProfs entries suggests to me you might be open to a name that is "City Specific to Madison, Different and International"
    ....

Your Sister City in Sweden might fit that bill.

    Solleftea Sisters

Not quite -Soul Sisters- but similar sounding and very memorable. Should get you some press or cute Press Release.

Perhaps something curvy could be done with the double 'S' in the Sign Name for a logo considering we all think Swedes are sexier than most of us, the subtle connection will be implied esp. with a suggestive Logo if that is your wish.

    Good Luck

Hmmm. Reads like a lot of folks like playing on Madison and you have been recently hooked on Envy. Maybe some combination of Envy and Madison could suite your needs.

I like the suggestion of pitching some ideas to a small group of college students, hair stylist, art students in the area. Since this is a local establishment you may get some very good vibes on the local hip-ness. We all can suggest ideas from a distance, but there is nothing like being in tune with the local customers psyche.

Besides, a small word of mouth group like this could be the start of some very good word of mouth promoting starting a buzz in the community.

    Madison Envy
    The Clothes, The Attitude

    Madison Envy
    The Sublime Cultures Home

    Madison Envy
    Not just any Avenue!

    Good Luck!

M.E. or Emm-Eee (ME phonetically) might work also with your Madison thoughts.
