Free Photos And Cartoons For Newsletter

I am writing a newsletter that will be sent out to the clients of small businesses. It will contain general information tailored to the clients' needs and some human interest/humour items. I've been requested to include photos and cartoons as well. Can you recommend any internet sites that supply these for free or at a low cost?

Dianne - good question! I'd be interested in free cartoons and pics too!

These people have free pics for non-commercial use and charge for business users:

I like www.deviantart.com. While they are not always free the artists are easily contacted. 70% of the time all they ask for in return is a link back to there homepage.
