The clippings industry has both consolidated and fragmented. Large companies capable of offering a press monitoring service globally have combines and other more locally based have sprung up. For example:

Tel: (416) 750-2233 might be OK for Canada but useless for the Zambia.

Where are you based? Are you looking for a clipping service which will monitor adverts and PR? Do you want to monitor by key-word or by category? Where, geographically, do you want them to monitor? Questions, questions, questions! We’re a bit like that sometimes!

I’ve used Romeike and Curtis for years and also used International Press Cuttings Bureau (IPC)

NewsNow provides an online service which also covers the printed press:

IPCB covers the UK rather well, but I’m not too sure about Uruguay (Where didn’t you say you were located?) That’s:

Romeike who offer global, local, PR, Adverts, On-line and key-word search have just re-branded them as Cision as I guess they got fed up with no one, including clients of 20 years standing, being able to spell Romeike and Curtiss. As they have about 200 different services located in 40 different geographies, I suppose that there’s a chance that they cover Terra del Fuego or wherever it is you reside.
