I remember reading awhile ago about MarketingProfs being on facebook. What about myspace???? Is there a page created out there?

Hey Missy -- No. MarketingProfs does not have a MySpace page. But yes -- it does have a Facebook group. (Login to Facebook, search on "MarketingProfs" in "groups.")

Generally, I don't find MySpace to be a great platform for business. I have a personal account there -- and find I get a lot of spam and unsavory stuff.

But I'm curious about your own experience -- which, granted, might be more positive than mine. In your view, is there a compelling reason MP should be on MySpace? We're all ears....

I'm not the Worlds biggest fan of MySpace either, though I do recognize the huge audience it has. I have to say I would not support it either, just because of all the BS that I would deal with just to pick up a handful of potentials. The great thing about Marketing Profs is that we are mostly on the same level, or at least the same "page"

Nice question, but have you thought whether it's worth it, to have a group on myspace? That would deteriorate the image instantly. Everything looks like spam on myspace..
