Interview Questions To Ask The New Ceo

Our company needs to interview/ask the new CEO a few questions which will be sent to the media. What of sort of questions do we ask him? This is for our external newletter which will introduce our new CEO and inform the industry of the future.

    How will his style differ from the previous CEO's?

    What successes/failures has he experienced (professionally), and how has he learned from them?

    Why will his plans produce better results than the past?

    What was an important development in the last year (for your industry), and how will it affect your company's future strategy?

    What makes him most excited about joining your company?

    What developments will we see in the future?

    Depends on your industry.

    Some industries would do well with:

    "What's spinning on your CD player"
    "What book is on your nightstand"

    Others need more traditional questions as listed by others.
