To me it doesn't sound casual

a cheap suit store in a mall comes to mind

I would think either of the word for an outside toilet or, being in on something - as in he was privy to inside information that allowed him to sell before his stock tanked.

To be perfectly honest, I wouldn't rate it high on my chart for a menswear name.

    Good Luck!

Hmm, this seems to be a relatively loaded word, so some risk in using it.

    Privé is French for "deprived".

In old English, it means "secretive, discreet". This is an alternate spelling for the word "privy". But, "privy" can also mean a bathroom (generally used to say a low quality/class toilet, like an outhouse).

My first thought was of a military word for toilet, but I wasn't sure. So I did a simple Yahoo search and here's what I got:

    https://www.hyperdictionary.com/dictionary/privy
    1. [n] a small outbuilding with a bench having holes through which a user can defecate
    2. [n] a room equipped with toilet facilities
    3. [adj] hidden from general view or use; "a privy place to rest and think"; "a secluded romantic spot"; "a secret garden"

Other entries on a Yahoo search were:

    https://www.medterms.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=9101
The 14th- century English poet Geoffrey Chaucer spoke of "pestilence" in "The Pardoner's Tale": "Ther cam a privee theef men clepeth Deeth, / That in this contree al the peple sleeth, / And with his spere he smoot his herte atwo, / And wente his wey withouten wordes mo. / He hath a thousand slayn this pestilence.

And it was used for women's hosiery:
    https://www.ezhosiery.com/privee.html
GIVENCHY PASSION PRIVEE 545. Secret Smoother Capri Medium Support Hosiery.

Toilets (first thought), secretly in on something, something to do with 14th century plagues, and panty hose. Hmmm. Not anything I'd want associated with my clothes.

As a marketer of said product, I wouldn't want these other things anywhere near my search results either.

    I hope this helps.

Because people will misspell privee to be privey, you've got a bad joke waiting to happen. If you can modify the spelling of privee to be something less confusing, it may work.

I too think of an outdoor toilet. Second being included in a secret.

Personally I would be fearful of the toilet conotation.

I agree. Sounds like an outdoor toilet. Of course, it depends on the pronunciation. Even then, the reference could be enough to ruin your chances for a successful launch.
