    Ten thousand points certainly deserves an answer or two or three. I gotta admit, I tried the naming engine and did not really "get" the results field. That said, I am willing to try again.

    Anyways happy holidays to all the "boomarizon" folks out in MP land.

    Boomarizon was the business name generated with words like roadrunner, coyote and boom.

    I think the names you enter don't much matter ... but it was fun. My company name:

    CHIVALROUS - MET CO.

    And the domain name is available! That's the most remarkable part of all!

    Thanks for some comic relief, Wayde.

    Jennifer - Clammybiz Partners....It might be a rival for the Crabby Patty "under the sea" where the guy lives in a pineapple!

    Phil - I'm sorry it didn't work for you! :( I do like Boomarizon, though

    Jeff - Transceivers from Instinctivespan Parters - there's a name that inspires confidence!

    Michael and David - what a coincidence that the two of you came up with the same name - Earsplittingspan Partners. I guess you are the partners!

    Mike E: I can see the tagline: Get excited to register your exams through Exuberantcrest Ltd.

    Mike G: Actually, it does matter what you put in - the generator engine uses some parts of the words. I don't know how it works - it's not my algorithm. But if you enter the same words twice, you get the same answer. If you change them a little, you get a different answer. I have to say, though, Chivalrousmet Co. Does fit your brand! :)

    COOPERATIVE - MET LTD.

    It would be nice if the tool could also somehow tie in the name with a tagline generator.

    Mushfique -

    Sorry about that! My instructions were unclear on that page. You have to page down to get your true name! The BIG BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS you saw on the top of the page is part of the instructions to tell you to page down!

    Expand Abroad Consulting became DEADPAN - LAB INC.

    For fun:
    "George W Bush" became GORGEOUS - BIZ PARTNERS
    "Barack Obama" became ABACK - BIZ CO.

    It seems to me that this tool has good points and bad points. I think it is very good at this tool does not tightly limit a company to a particular kind of work.

    It seems to me that in a highly fluid economy a person might change businesses and focus more frequently than ever.

    Therefore it seems to me that the keywords used to generate business names using such a tool should relate to your special capabilities, experience and goals rather than your location and current employment.

    thanks Steve, did it and here we go....

    Food & Grocery Retail Chain,
    Dhaka, Bangladesh,
    Mushfique Manzoor

    name: CROOKED - BIZ PARTNERS

    ooppss! this name persists even if my industry is only 'Food & Grocery'

    but when i put only 'Retail Chain' as my industry, the name is DETAILED - SPAN LTD.

    this is scary ;-))))

    cheers!!

    Peter - Deadpanlab, Inc. Boy, I hope you don't consult for comedians! Good ones for GW and BO.

    Dave - it's not a serious tool. Although looking at company names out there today, they could have used such a tool and not been far off! ;)

    Gary, The label on the input field says "please enter your name" - it's not editable so we're stuck with it. On that line, you can enter products/services, city, country, name - any way you want. While I don't know the algorithm used, I'm guessing the name generator uses some sort of random number generator that is seeded from the input. If you change the input, the words picked change.

    Annette, I'm sorry the name didn't make sense for your business. It really shouldn't given the name generator picks random words from a list I provided. There's no intelligent tie back to your business type. It just uses the input to select a random number and choose the words. It's just all in fun to see what kind of names come up!

    Mushfique - I think you'd have to really put a marketing spin on Crookedbiz Partners to make that one fly! Deailedspan Ltd - now there's a solid name you can bank on! ;)

    Carrie - Abhorantspan Partners...Boy, I'd hate to see your logo!

    Thanks for the diversion, Mr. Wayde. Let's see.....

    * promotional communications
    * Tulsa USA
    * pghpromo

    * New Name: COMFORTABLEMET PARTNERS

    Comfortable like an old shoe. Still better than "Crooked-Biz!" LOL

    And, thanks to Darcy's link, I also discovered that Swiss furniture could be named PGHPRĂ–MMO.

    Merry Christmas!

    Paul - so you're moving into promoting old shoes? I hear there's money in that! And not much competition!

    Juliet - Nope. NO logic in the naming process. Just for fun. And I know you understand that because you're the CEO of Understoodlab, Ltd!
