Cake Business Name

My dilemma is that I cant' find good names for my new cake business because the corresponding domain names are all taken! This business is targeted at people who want something better than a Safeway cake, but don't want to pay or go to a high-end, super expensive bakery. So middle of the road, more than Safeway pricing. No wedding cakes right now...focus on birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions and parties. I'm not sure if I should include the word "cake" in the business name, because it could be that I want to expand into lunch catering at some point (don't want to limit myself!). I like the website www.pinkcakebox.com. thanks for any ideas!!!!!

    I agree with Phil. Domain names do not need to match the company name. The problem with domain names is that they are global, producing a lot of competition. Your business will be more local, and it is fine to have the same name as a company in another state as you will not be competing with them.

    Find a name that you like and get creative with the domain name. In your business your main infulx of customers will not be from the internet.

    Hi and welcome:

    Domain www.littlepinkcakebox.com isn't taken. I really like the pinkcakebox.com name and the branding possibilities that go with it. Adding 'little" to it will get you your own domain. Later on you could develop a spinoff for your catering idea.
