Career College A Bad Idea?

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am currently enrolled at a career focused college of which I am attending online going towards a bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. My dream is to get into marketing management, though, I am afraid that the college I am attending isn't prestigious enough to get me the job I want.

If anyone reading this is a hiring manager, would you tell me what your looking for and if you would consider someone with a degree from a career college.

If you are not a hiring manager but in marketing yourself could you please provide advice as to what is the best path to take to gain a career in marketing.

Often times people are goinhg to look more at your experience than where you went to school. Your alma mater might help for that first job, but after that it is more about what you have done. Get an internship in marketing and get to work. That will help more than anything and also put some perspective on your classes.
