Internal Newsletter Name

Posted by wendy.boland on 125 Points
I am a Brand and Communications Manager within our Industrial Markets division that manufactures different types of steel products. I'm about to launch our new internal newsletter and need some help to come up with a catchy name. (yes, I work in marketing and can't think of a name!). I've put a few suggestions forward "Wordcount", "Mantra" and "Brand New Day", but all I get is a blank look from my colleagues. Look forward to hearing your ideas and suggestions.

Thanks Marcus, these are all great suggestions, however, your suggested newsletter names are going down the product path of one of our competitors! I should have included the area I work in is primary operations which manufacturers slabs, flat products, hot rolled coil and plate steel to a market mostly made up of distributors. The purpose of the newsletter is to promote our brand and communications activities, such as guidelines, tradeshow participation, marketing campaigns, new advertisements etc. Hope this helps you and other contributors.

I suggest to use "White hot", I hope the deep meaning in English is similar to the Italian "Calor bianco" you could use.
I think hot can be interesting and white hot can mean some thing is very brilliant and exciting.

    hello

    i suggest:
    1. to put your company abbreviation followed by "_Public" (like "Industrial Markets division" = company name >> IMD_Public).
    2. EchoNews, Internal News
    3. Whazz UP
    4. Hard News

    all the best,

I like to have internal newsletters include a reference to the company mission statement.

CEOs love mission statements but customers couldn't care less. They're just so much pap.
