    Dear AdelaM,

    "Catchy" isn't a selling strategy.

It's a recipe for a one hit wonder.

When I'm buying a house in the UK, I'm looking for an estate agent with solid market experience; I need someone who understands what I want and what I don't want, and I need someone who knows what the hell they're doing.

I'm not looking for catchy, hip, trendy, with it, cool, or wild and wacky. I'm looking for professionalism, integrity, honesty, service, diligence, value, and experience.

Catchy, hip, trendy, with it, cool, wild and wacky and every variation thereof shout amateur, pretender, or scam artist. UNLESS everything ABOUT you is wild and wacky and so on.

Then, and ONLY then, might this approach be appropriate.

But unless you're some kind of circus clown and your brand is that you have a big red nose, oversized shoes, and that you drive a car with wheels that fall off AND that you sell houses, opt for a strong positioning statement and keep your name short and to the point.

    I hope this helps.

Who is your primary target audience? What benefit do you offer them that makes you unique and worth considering?

We need more information if we are really going to be helpful for you. What is it you want your "catchy name" to do for your business? Why "catchy?"

    Hi Adela,

I agree with the input so far. I would also ask, from your pov, do any of your competitors have catchy names or taglines. If so, what are they? Do you have some examples in mind from businesses outside of your market segment?

This input may help clarify what you are looking for.

    thank you all for answers.

    - where in UK? - London outskirts

    - what are unique features of the project? - transforming an industrial platform in a booming business district; plot revitalization, location is not a key point(lack of infrastructure, no metro station).
    - what's the price point? - medium
    - what type of names appeal to you?
not to have city, town, building, project etc in. every office project contains one of the above words.

competitor names examples: Eurostar, Capital Tower, city gate, euro tower, sky building, Europe house and other combination of the location.

gary, i think you are right about the "catchy word"!
i want the name to be easy to remember, to reflect our statement (the quality at affordable rents) and to be unique.

    Target: investment funds, multinational companies.

    Dear AdelaM,

If you're looking for something that's unique, that's easy to remember and that reflects your goal of offering quality at affordable rents, what about:

    Qualatrent OR Qualtrent

Short. Original. Easy to remember. Easy to spell. And both available as single word domain names from Namecheap.com www.namecheap.com?aff=4710

    I hope this helps.

Thinking of Euro/Uk blend of descriptors...hopefully this will spark something for you. Earthy but finshed.

    The Grotto Manor.
