    Dear mkashifabbas,

I realize this might be a difficult concept to grasp, but students—ALL students, need to be willing to at least indicate that they are willing to do just the tiniest amount of their work.

At whatever school you're studying at you'll find a library chock full of insightfully written books, the vast majority of which contain millions of pieces of information for your use.

You'll even find that typing the following statement into Google yields over one million answers: "difference between international marketing and domestic marketing".

If you can type this statement here, you can type it into Google and find something you can use and onto which you can bolt all kinds of other questions with which you could then come back here and ask a real question—and one you've done some work on.

Students need to just try to help themselves. You'd be stunned just what an impact this one small gesture on your part will have on the attitudes of the regular posters on this site, and others, when it comes to offering feedback.

The days of a free ride, and of times when answers to even the most basic questions could be handed out free of charge are gone—if they ever existed.

Harsh? Yes, and for which I make no apology. But often, the only way to learn something is to be prodded into learning it for one's self.

    Dear Randall,

Hi there! Happy new year and all that.

Yes, the truth is that many people take time to write words that are then printed (gasp!) onto sheets of paper (imagine that?) which are then bound (and yes, companies called publishers do this) into piles called books!

Imagine that! Who knows? This book writing, printing thing might actually catch on.

Seriously though, please, PLEASE, all students reading this, ALL STUDENTS: please just take a tiny bit of time to help yourselves and you'll earn tremendous respect for your efforts.
