Customer 'thank You' Event

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
We have customers that are working construction in our town that are staying in hotels. We would like to hold some sort of 'thank you' event for them for their business. A cook-out from one of our competitors has already been done. Any ideas?

Are you the DOS for the hotel? If they're there for some time, they're getting to know each other...even if they're not working for the same company.

Try tickets for a local event. You could even do it for future event. If you're the DOS you probably have contacts at the local stadium/arena. If it's something like Lambeau they'll come back and bring the family.

I do not work for the hotel - we are a distributor that the construction company is buying materials from.

Send flowers to their (at home) families and/or coupons for dinner when they return home. Involving the customer's spouses shows will thank the whole family for their sacrifice.

Maybe what they'd appreciate is a good home-cooked meal. Can you pair them up with your company staff and invite them to your homes for something other than fast food? Not knowing the size of your company or their's, it may or may not work. It would help build your relationship on that important friend level.

    Good Luck!
