Know-How Exchange : Taglines/Names

Who is the target audience for your business? What do they look for when they're considering buying a quarter horse? We need to understand your target audience if we're going to help you come up with a slogan.

This may be obvious to you, but it isn't to those of us not familiar with your business. Is the audience mostly local/regional? Who are they? What's important to them?

Normally we suggest that you listen to your target audience and find out what words they use when they talk about how they view a product or category. After all, you want your slogan to resonate with them, right?

I must admit that when I first read your business name I read "Broken Ankles Quarter Horses." Not good. Must adjust my glasses.

I'd be careful on my signage and logo etc. Don't go with cursive fonts, words bent into circle etc lest someone else makes the same immediate mis-read.

I agree with Phil's adapted tagline above--straight and to the point.

Thanks for the comments. I originally chose Broken Acres, because the land that we own is broken up by a road that runs through it. So our barn in on 3 acres and our grazing pasture is on the other side of the road on 6 acres. Thanks for all the responses.
