Tools For Sharing A Long Video (webinar)

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I tried to add a webinar we just conducted to YouTube so that I could share it on our site, but because of it's hour length (I presume) it wouldn't display in YouTube (it uploaded okay, it's not that large a file). It's a wmv. Any suggestions for longer video sharing?

If wanting to use YouTube, break it in to 6-7 smaller videos of 9min each.

Give each one a name and number. Could have each part become a subject for your blog, emails or news.... more content generating more content

I use www.screencast.com to host webinar recordings. It generates the HTML code you need to embed it on your website, and it's free if you need less than 2Gb of bandwidth per month.

    Hope that helps!

@mvaede, segmenting is a great idea, and this actually lend itself pretty well to doing it. I think for this particular session, though, I'm going to keep as one.
