Student Upon Graduation

Posted by Anonymous on 50 Points
I will be graduating in a month (Dec 16, 2004) with a BSBA Marketing degree. I am currently doing an internship which hasn't quite worked out the way I thought it would but I still consider it as a learning experience. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could advise me on good companies that I could apply for in the area of marketing/advertising/communications. I love my Marketing major and would love to find a position that I like in Pittsburgh. Also, I was wondering if it would be disloyal to start looking for job, when my internship boss (owner of the company) said that I might have the poissbilty of working with him, with no guarantee. Consider though that he has put a lot of time trying to train me for th time being. Thanks!

I don't know the Pittsburgh market, so can't comment on that.

But in regards to looking for another position even though your boss has said that the internship may become a job, there is nothing wrong with that. Actually, until you accept a position with the guy, it should be expected that you would be looking at other positions.
