I work for an ad agency and we are developing an employee recognition program for one of our clients. We have done email recognitions this past year, but want to do something more for 2012. We will base the recognition on production efficiencies and sales wins for the company. Can't be too elaborate, like a trip to Maui. A couple options we've come up with so far are a trip to the company headquarters to meet with upper management, $500 VISA gift card, dinner for two, special parking place, recognition with a professional photo and bio on an "All Stars" wall, etc. Have any of you had any success with employee recognition? What do you think would work well to effectively recognize employees of all types of work (management, admin, sales, line workers) among their peers? Thanks in advance for your help!
