Need 3 Levels For Telecom Technical Competition

Posted by vasudev_kamath on 500 Points
HI,

We will be launching a competition/contest for our call center executives bases globally for a technical support telecom company. Called Galaxy of Star - On the lines of Hall of Fame where the Star Achievers pictures will be put up on Hall of fame with their name & citation in addition they would be given wrist bands in 3 different colour bands which they can flash in the campus depending upon the complexity of the technical issue that they handled & got customer appreciation in return.

We propose them to give away Armstrong wrist bands in 3 different colour shades.

The distribution of these bands will be based on the complexity of the troubleshooting done by these technical engineers.

Seeking creative/catchy names for these wrist bands crowd in the age group of 18-25. These names will be printed on the wrist bands. Think on the lines of Computer Gaming/ Motor sports, e:g Ninja, etc All 3 names should be inter linked.

Level - 1 - Beginner - Need a more creative/catchy name

Level 2 - Advanced - Need a more creative/catchy name

Level 3 - Pro - Need a more creative/catchy name

These engineers are responsible for improving customer end Experience to ensure that our customers get best in class services like experience.

Right from fixing faults to incident management,
Customer engagements to change management,
Network improvements to performance management

Re: "... wrist bands in 3 different colour shades"

The most rare diamond colors in order are ...

    1. Red Diamond
    2. Green Diamond
    3. Blue Diamond

... so maybe the wrist band colors in this order.

Thanks Steve & Jay for your inputs we need to restrict it to one word so that printing of the word on the Rubber material wrist band becomes easy & is visible on large font.

The colours of the band as per corporate guidelines are :-

    1) Orange - Beginner - Now we need the one word catchy name
    2) Green - Advanced - Now we need the one word catchy name
    3) Blue - Pro - Now we need the one word catchy name

Why not have a contest in-house to have your employees pick a name? It has the bonus of introducing the initiative, and getting people excited about a creative process to define it.

    Hi Jay,

That would be the ideal option but then it would involve additional budget & cost for prize give away to create mailers & prizes for winners.

Some additional thoughts that arisen during the day were :-

Something on the lines of technology & which were creatively used in a bollywood flick RA- ONE

RA - ONE - Random Access One - RAVAN - the demon - Devil with 10 heads.

G-ONE - Good One or also in Asia a name of a boy called Jeevan means LIFE

G- TWO - G2 - Jeetu - In Asia is a name of boy called Jeetu means Winner.

Can we thinks 3 options on these lines.

    Regards,
