I am trying to come of with a professional name for my company which will house multiple businesses, such as 1.Priority Tax & Financial Service (2 locations), 2. A Red Wine (in the process of securing a name) and 3. a real estate company.
These are my 3 entrepreneur projects that I need a name heading for, I really didn't care Melissa Lowe Enterprise so I turned to my trusted profs for help.

With such unrelated businesses, an umbrella name such as XYZ (might be your name) Enterprise is appropriate. I trust that you have separate names for each business(?).

Since none of your businesses are likely to attract the same type of clientele looking for similar things, I'd recommend that you either create 3 separate names/entities or do as Gail suggest - an umbrella company name.

Why do you want a single professional name for three disparate brands? Is this a legal issue or a marketing issue?

If it is on advice of legal counsel, you can simply not market or promote any umbrella legal entity name. And since there is no apparent connection between these brands, an umbrella name for branding purposes makes little sense. Just ask yourself, how would the customers benefit from a single brand name?

I need the umbrella name for business purpose & banking purposes, not for marketing & branding. I market & brand each company individually.
At times in many of my business endeavors I've found it would be beneficial to be President/CEO of 1 umbrella company instead of listing each company.
I just need a great professional name that will represent me & my companies as a whole...it does not have to relate to either of the individual companies.
Some of my high end corporate business associates recommends this for me. 1 business card to present and these corporate business functions instead of 3.

You really don't need for banking purposes, in fact it may be cleaner accounting wise to separate. You can then see clearer how each business performs. Should one need "help" you may get better advantage having company A invest in company B.

Having said that, there is precendent to what you are doing -- sort of. Virgin Records, Virgin Airlines and now Branson is doing railroads. But there is no doubt that those names are under "Virgin" but books and finances are very separate. And, Branson is a brand of his own as is Virgin.

I think the seriousness of the real estate offices and the whimsy of wine might collide with a message. For example, I like MiLo, like JLo or LiLO. Which could be fun for wine with the right image and still leave you guessing on the rest.

I do imagine the CEO of YUM carries one business card, not one of their 3 concepts. But again the word YUM still lends itself to the core biz.

How about something about you? FreeSpirit? Or just "spirit or spirited" It says entreprenuer, it can be fun and it has its serious side.

    Glasses, Glass and Glassed.
    High Classed services.

represents that often numbers people wear glasses, wine gets consumed in a glass and a housed is generally glassed in.
tried to find a similarity to all.
