My thoughts: Define your target audience more precisely. Better to do a great job with a narrow target audience than a mediocre job with a large one. (It will allow you to communicate a more relevant message and it will cost less too.)

Find out what words your target audience uses when they talk about how they decide where/when to buy the kind of clothing you expect to sell. Get to really know how your target audience thinks, how they make decisions, their values, beliefs, attitudes, habits and practices. This will ensure that whatever name you pick will resonate with them.

How will your target audience find you? How will they learn you exist? Is your store going to be a bricks-and-mortar store or online (or both)?

target audience: college aged girls-middle aged women wanting a fun, unique way to show their team spirit. middle-upper class.
example price point $28-$32 for a appliquéd scarf
t-shirts range from $34-$48 depending on long-sleeve, short-sleeve and what's on them- appliqué, hand-sewn sequins or screen print.
also, a lot of the shirts we use are a little grunge, like a burnout faded color, really like the vintage, urban feel
some key words: spirit, fan, threads, retro, team, pride, mod, crew, gang, squad, score ,pep, vintage, urban, just about anything sports related...
so far all universities we're set-up to sell are southern states
will start with online store with some craft shows on the side.

Phil, it tells me you really have no useful info. concerning this issue, sorry...

"College age girls and middle aged women have virtually nothing in common regardless of the teams they support" okay...so how do you suggest they show team support, they just don't once they get past a certain age???

You see, Phil, this is not going to be a store with one universal shirt for them to choose from-we will have many types of styles, colors and sizes! Actually, hold on to your pants but I've been in collegiate stores that have baby clothing too! gasp! I mean what does a baby have in common with a middle-aged woman?..maybe, team spirit!?
