Attractive/meaningful Company Name

Hi,

We are in process to open the "General Trading" company which will distribute the exlusive brands to Retail & Foodservice customers (mainly Food) and in future we intend to launch private label brands and distribute it worldwide.

Now deciding the right name for our business critical, where we need your help....

Competitors company name who are involve in this business are as follows:

-1 Transmed
-2 NTDE (National Trading and developing Est)
-3 Food Specialities
-4 Farm Fresh
-5 Allied Foods
-6 Aramtech
-7 Falcon Pack
-8 Alfamed
-9 Armada Distribution
-10 Gulf Marketing Group (GMG)


Request you kindly help us to come with creative/meaningful name.

..........General Trading LLC. (company name would be in blanks)

    We need to know why someone would choose to buy from you rather than any number of suppliers out there, big and small. Just having a great name doesn't mean that people are going to choose you.

    We need to know what makes you authentically different that makes you stand out to the people who will buy from you. That way it'll be meaningful. We can do the creative bit.

    The company names mentioned above are distribution houses and having exclusive rights of the brands they distribute same is going to be the case with us. We are in partnership with World reputed and well established brands for distribution and have exclusive rights, this is where customers would buy from us in that particular product category.

    Why would they buy in your particular product category, when there are a dozen others to choose from?

    Plus, if you are up against these big concerns, you will need to spend a great deal on advertising in order that you become visible - let alone attract attention.

    My question stands with all seriousness. Things - even good things - don't sell themselves.

    Where will you be based? For example, why not "UAE General Trading LLC"?

    UAE cannot be licenced due to Ministry regulations.

    If you can't use UAE, can you use a name of a major city (such as Dubai or Abu Dhabi)? If your offerings will initially be from UAE for UAE consumption (and eventually for UAE export), it would make sense to make the connection to location in your name.
