    What does the company do? For who? Located where? How is it unique (in a way that your customers could care)?

    hi carrie/jay,
    my co is into mfg of linen blended and linen look fabrics. we supply to brands who make garments out of it. my target audience is b2b. we are located in india. our differentiation is the product line and variety we offer (pioneers in the field in terms of process, product and production).

    A serious question: how easy would it be for someone to copy your product line and the variety of products you offer?

    Because my take is always to refine these things to a degree that is way sharper than that. Doing this means it's far harder for your competitors to jump on the bandwaggon.

    the product we mfg can be copied, since the raw material is available in the market, but the depth of our product line is such that not everyone can offer the varieties we are able to. for example a competitor can have 10 designs of fabrics, but we have more than 200. so customers tend to flock to us when it comes to purchasing specialized items.

    i guess it should be product or marketing related. or maybe try to highlight the emotional benefit of the brand, 'impel fabrics', since i feel customer will not be motivated or get value addition in knowing our production process.

    What do you think of those? There's not much in the way of emotional pulls, only you're in a commodity market and I for one don't have enough info to know what makes your customers tick.
