Trying to name a unique business with a very specific niche. It is a "gaming lounge." See below for additional details:

Our Gamer Lounge Mission:
Our Mission is to create a gathering place for the trending nerd culture that promotes experiences and fosters relationships. Connecting this community initially through a passion for gaming which leads to an unanticipated deeper connection to the culture as a whole.

We are creating a nirvana for the marginalized nerd culture, a culture that now rules popular media, but has not been given a place to call home. It is our deepest mission to amend this transgression by providing this sub set with a new cultural touchstone.

Unmet Need
The common perception is that the majority of gamers are in their teens to twenties. When in fact the average gamer has been playing for at least 12 years and is pushing 30.
Our target market of gamers aged 25 to 34 “spend 66% ($83.25) above the national average household expenditure on social drinking at bars and nightclubs (2).“

The typical hangouts of bars and clubs have not evolved to cater to this growing demographic. However, the gamer lounge that we are creating will do just that- this is the need that we will satisfy. In fact, we will be for the gaming community what sports bars are for sports fans.

Our Gamer Lounge is a welcoming and enjoyable as a place to game, drink and socialize. We will provide many of the creature comforts of today’s digital way of life through our interactive digital tablets running our proprietary application. This tablet will help guests connect with gamers at other stations as well as lounge information and staff. Creating a unique experience that will draw our customers in and keep them entertained, engaged and patronizing our establishment.

We are currently considering "The Loading Bar" (as in a game loading....)

PLease HELP!!!

Firstly, a local restaurant has a strong following on Twitter and has regular gatherings. They've also increased the number of customers visiting through Facebook and Twitter engagement - the two have brought in around 60% of their new customers. Certainly more than make-or-break!

I was wondering if something like "The Real World" might do it? After all, you're a brick and mortar cafe, aren't you?

What do you think? I'm no gamer and its world is one that's foreign to me, so the "in" words won't mean much to me. Is there a term to describe the real world in "game" terms that might do you a better job?

    Good luck, and get tweeting!

Have you tried searching for similar businesses in other cities to see how they are named? For example, a popular game café has opened where I lived and it is called "Snakes and Lattes." The gaming element is different there as it is more board and card games, but even that culture might help you if you start making a list of various names and see the conventions that they use.

"The Loading Bar" may produce a negative reaction ("Get Loaded") - but whatever names you choose as finalists should be judged by your target audience.

    Bar None Games
    F2F Gaming (Lounge)
    Gaming 360
    (The) Consolation Bar

This is another case of the brand naming dilemma. If you go too generic, then you are likely just branding the segment itself — difficult to trademark, already taken as a dot com and your competitors will use it for primary keyword entries. If you go too "creative" some relevancy and connection could be lost with your target audience.

"Gaming Lounge" (and most all its thesaurus-kind) is too generic. It would be like naming an EV "The Electric Car", it becomes a segment/niche name over time. "EXP (something)" is an excellent name, but it's currently a visible competitor and may not hit the mark with some of your audience.

Going back to your input, the term "nerd culture" caught my attention as a culture club category. Maybe something along the lines of "(The) Gamers Culture Club" would be a right balance between the generic and the recognizable relevant creative for your target.
