What Is Michael Kors Uk Market Share?

Posted by jamz_x on 125 Points
I'm currently doing a report on Michael Kors. I have been trying to find the UK market share and have wafted through their annual report for the UK earnings and done quite a bit of research over the past few weeks to no avail.

I'm completely stuck and my deadline is Friday. I even tried to email them but got no response lol.

Many thanks,

Jamila

What kind of report are you writing? And do you mean "market share" as in percentage point increases year on year? Where else have you looked for this information? I'm asking this because tracking down enough information to write an informative piece for Forbes took me roughly 5 seconds (with no insider information of contacts). Michael Kors is a public company. I would pull up the investor reports and annual reports and see what information is there.

Most of Michael Kors competitors are also public, so pull up their investor information/annual reports to get info on them. Look at their sales breakdowns and compare to Michael Kors.

I would also do something as simple as Google "Michael Kors market share". There are a few articles that give some hints on its share. I did that and found an article that talks about market shares in the States, along with some other info that may be useful in trying to figure out for the UK. Try other options, like Googling competitor name + "Market share". Also add UK or England or Great Britain to searches to see if you can find info specific to the UK.

If you can't come to a real number, start looking at other ways to estimate the share. For example, one article I saw talked about numbers of stores. maybe you can compare numbers of stores and other forms of reach for the various competitors to get a feel for market size.
