What is your situation? Why do you think this organization may (or may not) be right for you? What else have you tried? Have you talked with current (and past) clients of this company?

I think the sales premise is flawed. Charging $49.99 for an e-book that's in the public domain in the United States but that may still be covered by copyright overseas is risky at best. Additionally, what logic is there to back up the assertion that "Branded books are ideal for creating a viral marketing campaign"?

I'd start with finding out what goes viral with your audience - and then write a book on that topic (or find someone to write it for you). That way there's no legal infringements.

Ebooks are very inexpensive to make (other than the content) and using a service like Createspace.com you can also generate printed copies (low cost) to give away.

Nobody is going to give a damn about your book unless the subject and creation of the book is special and reverent to your target market. A what you think is relevant may not be relevant to your potential clients. I wouldn't count on a big viral effect.
