Amazon's Drone Delivery As Thesis Topic

Hi all,

I am currently working on formulating a topic for my Master's thesis. I am however unsure if I will be able to find enough academic info on my topic. I would like to use Amazon's drone delivery as the main theme.

The topic could be something to the effect of "Is drone delivery the only competitive advantage left for E-commerce?- the Amazon story"

I have found little research on this specific topic. Is the topic too broad? Do you have ideas where I can find some academic research on this topic?

Any insights are much appreciated!

    Since the earliest that Amazon Prime Air could be used is 2015, it would seem that there's not going to be enough hard data for you thesis in place soon.

    More to the point you could entitle it "Why is drone delivery the only competitive advantage left for E-commerce?"

    Most people consider price as the only measure, and Amazon's abuse of staff is but part of this. The other side is to look at Amazon's style of marketing. I can't track down the article right now, but it's very different from what most big stores do - online or off.

    Just remember that if you're desperate for a sale, you'll drop your prices. If you're confident about your product, you'll find people who'll value it and pay you well.

    You could look at effective PR strategies for e-commerce sales.
