Who exactly is your target audience? How will your target audience find the website? What gets them to the homepage? What do you tell/promise them to get them to click?

When do you tell people what you do and what benefit they can expect if they hire you? (It's not clear from the homepage.)

What is it you want someone to DO after they land on the homepage? What's the call to action?

The home page should as a minimum convey the details you shared with us: the region you serve and who you're targeting.

We're also unlikely to be your target audience. Have you asked local employers (or employees of HR departments) what they think? What do they look for? How do you differ from your (local) competition?

Who exactly is your target audience? Answer: Employers and job seekers, mainly in the white-collar industries - as our choice.

How will your target audience find the website? Answer: At this time, our site can be found by anyone who receives targeted emails (and we have to assume that these emails are forwarded in chains), and has a need for our services; hiring, posting or resume, or getting a video resume done - all our services are free to job seekers. We also attend networking events, and receive a lot of word-of-mouth referrals.

What gets them to the homepage? The marketing efforts that we provide on a daily basis is driving visitors to the site.

What do you tell/promise them to get them to click? Answer: The site is inviting in itself. Since we cater to the professional sector(s), we can only assume that our visitors will read the site/pages for the most part which are in very simple terms, very informative. We tell/promise them that with our services we will be able to provide them with a platform from which to be seen and heard by employers (which we do), rather than just using a traditional B&W resume. We do not overpromise and try to overdeliver.

When do you tell people what you do and what benefit they can expect if they hire you? (It's not clear from the homepage.) Answer: The homepage does not provide that information as it is only designed create curiosity. The page for this information (benefits) is specifically located under the For Employers and For Candidates sections and partly under the About Us page.

What is it you want someone to DO after they land on the homepage? To move the the About Us page, read the information in more detail and to contact us for more information, to request a Demo, to have their resume uploaded, or anything else.

What's the call to action? We have created a couple of short marketing videos to help us in the call for action.

Jay Hamilton-Roth - We have reliable information from our current clients; employers and job seekers, that have transacted with us that the site is very informational, different than anything else they've seen. Additionally, over 95% of our job seekers have no less than a (4) year degree and most have a Masters or specialized degrees.

We are seeking advice from local employers on more information about our site. Fortunately for us, we do not have a competitor in our area providing an online service that provides an image, a video profile, and a full resume of job seekers - nothing to compare it to but many resume only companies.
