Online Marketing And Online Shopping

I have read many research paper on online marketing , in that meaning of online marketing is "It's the process of selling a product or services through virtual shop", now can I say that online shopping is the part of online marketing. If No, what is difference between online marketing and online shopping?

    In short, online marketing is about presentation and offers, while online shopping is about selection and decision making.

    I'm not sure I understand.

    But based on what you are saying "online shopping" is the end action that you want a user to take when you're doing "online marketing" - like, you do the marketing so your customers will shop or take other action.

    To me, Online Marketing encompasses SEO/SEM, Social Media, Paid Ads, Email Prospecting, Retargeting, Web Analytics, Video, Website, etc. Online Advertising to me is more focused on Paid Ads and other advertising items like Retargeting.
