A Name And A Tagline For My New Chinese Restaurant

Posted by halmunif on 250 Points
Hello,

Its a casual chinese restaurant everything will be fresh and made 2 order, nothing is pre-cooked. Wok style but I will not bring up the "wok" in the name or the whole branding. Its targeted for males and females between 14 to 40 mainly. And anyone who loves ans enjoys this cusine.

I am confused between the following two names:

1- Chow
2- Yao

And also I don't know what to put as my slogan or tagline.

My usp would be quality. Fresh food.

Go with Chao. The reason is if you consider English Pronunciations, Chao will be easier to remember, satisfies most of brand naming rules, It will be easily associate with Chinese.

Thanks. But what are the brand naming rules?

    Ease of pronunciation
Unique enough to stand out from the others
Simple and short enough to remember
    Clearly indicates focus or niche

Just a few of the brand naming rules.

Tagline should then focus a bit on your value proposal:
Chic/trendy? Upscale or economical? Specific regional specialty? Since it's fresh and made to order, you might make it seem like you are eating in someone's home:
"Home-cooked. Chinese-inspired" (that's the thought but maybe others will come up with a better tagline)

You may not need a tag line or any kind of slogan.
