Purchasing Data Lists

Can anyone recommend a credible vendor where I can purchase good quality lists for B2B sales & marketing? Being able to provide data for a varying number of industries and verticals is necessary.

    there are many sources of lists, but my favorite starting point is Dun & Bradstreet. They have very comprehensive information and relatively reliable demographic information. If it were my project, I would use Dun & Bradstreet information to identify and to find my target universe, and then I would supplement that with information from other sources (using DUNS numbers to identify corporate entities / locations. I would use Dun & Bradstreet for very basic information (company name, address, industry, number of employees, revenues, phone number) and use other less expensive sources to identify contacts and e-mail addresses and industry news and so forth.
