Need Critique On Newly Re-designed Site.

Posted by sales on 125 Points
Hi
I had the same design for a few years and my site and revenue became stale. Did redesign in presta shop.
Looking for input.
Thanks
Stan

The site looks much better. The problem I see now is that it's not clear whether the site is for retail customers or trade customers, and the call-to-action is similarly unclear.

At first glance, I can't tell who you're targeting - and what makes your website's offerings worth exploring. I see the text (that's not quickly scanned): "Black-Chandelier.com is the only Boutique Designed to Explicitly Showcase Black Chandeliers & Sconces". So, why is that important to your visitor? Who's likely to be interested in black-only lighting? Why?

We are trying to stand out as an expert in a niche market..Lighting sites are usually huge with thousands of choices that can be confusing..The potential customer gets frustrated and decides to go to a brick and mortar store..At the store they will find no black crystal chandeliers...Most sites will not offer a variety of black chandeliers..

We strive to be a source for both residential and commercial customers...Although, 80% of our business has become commercial business with multiple piece purchases.

We are trying to shed our previous gothic look which catered to a clientele that loved the site look and chandeliers but couldn't afford them.

Given what you wrote, it would seem wise to make that explicit - in (or near) your banner header.
