Interested In An Experienced Marketing Coach

Posted by Anonymous on 500 Points
I've been in marketing for 6 years, but I don't have a lot of other marketers to discuss marketing practices with and truly believe in coaching/mentoring. So, I was hoping to see if there were any experienced marketing individuals that would like to be a marketing coach. I'd like the ability to ask questions related to my current marketing practices and be challenged in learning new ones. I'm currently in B2B marketing, and would like to improve my understanding in certain areas. The person I'm looking for would have several years of marketing experience and preferably a Christian believer. I believe that because business and marketing is built on relationships, faith has direct impact on the success of the relationships we build.

If anyone is interested or know anyone that is, please let me know.

I have an extensive background in marketing -- B2B, B2C, not-for-profit, etc. -- and I've acted as a mentor on a few occasions. I might be able to fulfill the role you describe.

The part I don't understand is the preference for a "Christian believer." Are you suggesting that Christianity is a prerequisite for building successful relationships? If so, then I would submit that you are unnecessarily limiting the pool of highly qualified mentors/coaches from which you can select.

If you want to pursue a possible mentoring relationship, feel free to contact me via email (in my profile).

Thank you, mgoodman. I mention it as a preference, because this is an important element to me and how I believe business and relationships need to operate. Please keep in mind, this is my preference, and not something I personally place on others. Everyone has their preferences in how they do things. This is simply one I find very important. I will say though, this will not limit me finding a marketing coach. Again, its stated as a preference. Thank you for your response, and thank you for extending your willingness to help. I'd like to see what responses I recieve from this post, but I would truly like to visit with you to learn more of how you see a coaching relationship working and the fee you require. Thank you.
