Program Name Needed

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
We will provide a marketing program for professionals on our website. They will come from all types and sizes of businesses to take the program.

The program will consist of videos, audios and text documents explaining the strategies they can implement to market their business.

I need a catchy title for the program.

Thanks

Steve

Do you think that a "catchy title" will appeal to professionals? I would think that they'd be more interested in a program that could benefit them in some way. Maybe you can help us understand the BENEFIT, and we can include or reference that in the name.

You probably ought to narrow the target audience too, so you can be more specific and relevant to the core target audience. It's not clear whether you are targeting professionals or folks "from all types and sizes of businesses." (Not all types and sizes of businesses employ professionals.)

Finally, is there a company name that will be used, or will the program name stand alone? If there's a company name, we should know that up-front.

    Thanks for your response.

No, I do not need a "catchy title" I need a title that will resonate with people when they read it.

The benefits to the program is giving tools and examples of strategies not tactics that can be used to generate, convert and engage their prospects.

Our target audience are small businesses with sales between $250,000 to $1,000,000. That audience could be women and men that are solo-entrepreneurs such as business coaches, speakers, graphic artists, commercial and residential cleaning companies.

    The program will stand alone.

    Hope this helps.

    OK.

I would submit that "... giving tools and examples of strategies ..." is not a benefit, regardless of how they can be used. You need to give folks a clear promise that tells them how they'll be better off, not just a literal description of what you will give them. Your target audience in particular will want a clear picture of what's in it for them to use your services. Strategies are certainly important, but these folks live with tactics day-in and day-out. They want measurable results.

And one more question: Are you going to serve a particular geographic area, or is this something for the whole world?

The benefit to our customers is that they will have full access to the program at reduced pricing rather than belonging to a group or individual coaching program.
With this program being on our website we are able to offer it world wide just as we do with other programs that are successful.

Opt for relevance over catchiness. Every time I hear the word "catchy" I want to read for a blunt instrument. What's the name of your site? Knowing what you offer helps in the name creation process.

I don't get it. What is the benefit of having "full access to the program." How does that make anyone's life better? Do you deliver money to their bank account? Do you make them the envy of the community? Do you enable them to take an extra 3 weeks of holiday every year?

There must be a reason people come to you for whatever it is you do. And I'll bet it isn't because they are so eager to have full access to a program that has no clear benefit for them.

Why will people come to this program and why will they take it? When they do take it what will they gain? What's the desired outcome? What's the benefit?
