Medical Equipment & Uniforms Tagline Needed

Posted by shop on 250 Points
Hi there!
I have been trying to improve the branding of our home medical equipment company.
We are a small, community focused company. We pride ourselves on providing the best quality products and services, unlike some of the national companies that we compete with. We provide medical products (such as respiratory equipment like oxygen and CPAP for sleep apnea), mobility products like walkers and wheelchairs, other miscellaneous medical supplies (pretty much everything you could ever think of!) in addition to our booming scrub/uniform and footwear side of the business.

I'd really like to come up with a tagline that somehow ties in our providing the best products/services not only to patients, but also the uniforms and supplies that caregivers/nurses need.

Any ideas?? :-) THANK YOU!

What's the name of your home medical company (we wouldn't want to duplicate any of your company's name in the tagline)?
Who's typically your best customers? Why?

Hi... we are Sea Breeze Sleep and Medical Services.
Our best customers are any of our community members who needs medical supplies or community caregivers needing uniforms.
Any other details that may help?
Our name came from the fact that we are in a beach town, so a lot of branding of local businesses plays off of the sea/beach/waves vibe.

Hi Janet- thanks for your response. I'm looking for something I can use on my print materials so that might be a little less concise than I need!

Have you spoken with your customers to see what words they use when describing their purchase process? How do they select a supplier of medical equipment? What criteria are most important to them? Where/how do they find you?

The claim of "best" is all but invisible. Everybody claims it, and there's really no good way for the customer to judge what it means. There must be some other reason why your customers have selected you. Even if they understand "best," it's unlikely they really know and appreciate what it means. How many of them have purchased from you and your competitors and really have a solid basis for rating "best?"

Separate issue: Why do you want a tagline? Are you afraid your prospective customers won't understand what you do from the name alone? What do you expect the tagline to do for you? How will you know when we come up with a winner?

Additional thought: You have two audiences that have different needs (from each other) and seek different benefits. Trying to speak to both of them with a single tagline is either going to confuse them both and/or all but ignore one of them.

You will almost certainly have a clearer and more relevant pitch for both of them if you create separate communications for each one -- probably including different taglines. The taglines should speak directly to the unique benefit you promise to each audience.
