Tag Line For Real Estate Woman To Brand Uniqueness

Posted by bherdcomm on 250 Points
This woman a real estate sales representative would like to incorporate a tag line in her branding. Her dilemma is how to show her uniqueness and how her approach is different from others. She is a very practical person with a no nonsense approach. She helps families and businesses both buy and sell properties as homes, businesses and cottages. This area is located on 2 lakes with many recreation properties. She does not really specialize in a certain demographic but does a lot of work in a small lakeside community close to a small city that attracts mostly seniors and those looking to retire or down size. She is very involved in the community and has worked with non-profits as a volunteer on the board level and as a supporter at events and community activities. She would like to show that communicating with her clients is her strength ...she loves to read, she is the chair of the local toastmasters chapter and she helps people both buy and sell properties. Her name is Darlene Elder and she has experience in retail operating a store, working as a real estate sales rep in a rural location and now out of a small sized city of 34,000 people.

Does the real estate agency or business have a name? Do most buyers come from the general area, or do they move in from other states?

It's not going to be easy to distinguish a real estate representative based on the features you've listed. They sound vaguely like every other real estate agent's claims. She might be better off carving out a niche for herself and focusing on that. And it's not immediately obvious why most of the features (about her) are really benefits to a client.

Ideally what you'd want is a name and tagline that speak to a unique benefit for the client. And since there are so many different kinds of clients (e.g., buyers, sellers, residential, businesses, cottages, seniors, etc.) it's almost impossible to come up with a tagline that speaks to all the possible clients.

If she's mostly focused on helping senior find/sell homes, that's one point of specialization.

It is a Canadian Company Royal LePage and people often move here from larger cities in Southern Ontario either because of family, or ties through cottaging here when growing up. It is only 1.5 hr commute to Toronto but is located in a lovely small city situated on 2 lakes.
Darlene would like to focus on the fact that she has knowledge of the area, she provides a lot of practical advice with straightforward talk. She does not sugar coat things. She also writes a blog about useful real estate info for homes and cottages.

How would Darlene say she's different from her competition? What (or who) does she know that others don't - and in ways that matter to saving/making money?

She is different in that she knows the area from working and running a store here for more than 20 years.

Any ideas on a possible tag line based on the information discussed?
