Need A Name For Clothing Store

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hi there! We are 3 young women opening up a clothing store in an upmarket part of Johannesburg. Our products will be imported, exclusive & vibrant.

Our clientele will be women of all ages. These will be young professionals, executives, basically anyone who is looking for something that's not readily available anywhere else in South Africa - that wants professional & classy, yet trendy & fashionable items in their closets.

All 3 of us are of different race: Taiwanese, white & black - so we want to incorporate that into our shop's name if possible. (just something I thought would be special)
Maybe have a name that includes parts of our names, i.e Kitty, Tashja & Bongi.

Just also FYI, I've thought of Binki & played around on PhotoShop & was thinking of using a "long / tall" type of font (Think 1920's style), so whatever name we decide on, I'll be using a type of font like that.

I just feel that it gives more of a "sleek, classy" style to the name of the shop / logo which is what we're going for.

I also thought that a 'one word' name would probably work better, but am looking for any ideas & suggestions, so if it's a double barrel word, it doesn't matter at all.

Can't think of any other info you would need, so please, any help would be much appreciated!

Tash

@Jay Hamilton-Roth thank you for your answer, however are those your suggestions for names for the store? They seem more like "descriptions" than names?

Yes, they are potential one-word names for your store. A tagline that would express your benefit to your audience would help explain more.

Thank you - but as I mentioned in my description I want it a bit more personal as opposed to "just a word/words" I'm also thinking now maybe a word in another language that describes us or that describes the feeling of the shop. It's so tough to find something that fits! :)

Adding a tagline can help to generate curiosity and interest within potential customers.
