Looking For A Theme Idea!

Posted by Anonymous on 500 Points
I host an annual event called the Kids Only Christmas Sale . Held each December, the event is a unique and totally awesome event which introduces kids to entrepreneurship and financial literacy.

The goal is to inspire kids to become entrepreneurs, savers, investors and philanthropists too.

I am looking for a unique them for 2014 that we can design a marketing campaign or strategy around. Any ideas?

Can you share some past theme ideas, so we have an idea of the direction you've headed in?
    What region are you targeting?
Is the theme supposed to be attractive to kids or their parents or the general public?
Why not keep the same theme as last year?

I've never had a theme per se but have used different slogans at different times. For example, "Developing Entrepreneurial Leaders." Learn and Earn at Christmas etc.

I've always wanted to add a theme and thought I would do so this year. Initially I'd like the theme to attract the kids. Its a message I want to leave with them throughout the entire event.

More info on the event is found here:https://www.facebook.com/KidsOnlyChristmasSale

I'm brainstorming so may post a couple more ideas.

First idea: Be a leader - the future needs ya!
Maybe we could evolve that 'Be a Leader - Father Christmas needs ya!'
Depending on the demographic of course.

I love the concept, whole heatedly. I work with kids all the time to help put the future in their hands.

I think we need to get on a level with the kids.

'Make the money, to look after your mummy'
I can't think of many kids who wouldn't get on board with that.

Or am I getting a bit too cheesy and missing the point of your event?

I actually like that Danny and don't think its cheesy at all. It would definitely catch the kid's attention.
