you need to know the terminology related to your chosen industry in order to communicate effectively and hopefully establish trust and credibility.

some say, "there is no such thing as a stupid question". Personally, I do not believe that is always true. You can't be asking your prospects to explain basic industry terminology to you if you hope to develop a relationship where you can advise, guide, and teach them.
