    FWIW, the value of a Marketing Plan is not in the format or template, but in the thinking that goes into it. Don't worry about the format. Focus on the substance.

    I agree with mgoodman. Whatever template you use is just a way to guide your thinking, but the value is definitely in what you find as you are filling in the template.
