Need A Name For A Photo Booth Company

Posted by ivanhaze3 on 250 Points
Looking to differentiate myself in the market place, my target audience is diverse weddings to corporate events to frat parties. I do not want to be obvious in the name i.e. the photo booth company but more creative like the "memory box". Looking for some ideas that help me sell the photo booth and add some excitement or even wonder.

Based on your expertise and your region, how can you differentiate yourself? Unfortunately, a name isn't going to magically attract customers. Why do people have photo booths at their events? Why would they choose to hire you? What do people say about the experience of having a photo booth - both at the event and months (or years) later?

It is hard to advertise or market a business without a name. Yes those are all great questions but dont neccessarily answer the age old question. What do we call it?

You're right - a name is the first thing you'd need for advertising. But where are you going to advertise? How are people going to find you? What type of people will find you? What's your advertising budget? A name needs to connect with your audience because they're looking for someone like you, rather than a "catchy" name that intrigues. While people can give you lots of naming suggestions, without understanding the context of the name, we're all going to guess - and so will you. Tell us how you'll identify a name that resonates with your audience, and I'm sure we'll come up with some good suggestions.

Lots of ?'s. Smaller market outside of metropolitan areas looking to appeal to event planners, family's and anybody that wants to capture that special moment in time.Advertising small budget social media, flyers, web presence.Operating in a fairly close knit community word of mouth will be key.I just don't want a catchy name but one that does not just say photo booth.

Run a 30 to 90 day split test. Use the exact same text on both ads and change on the names. Run one ad with (insert name of town) Photo Booth and the other ad with Memory Box and the first ad will out pull the second ad. Why? Because as much as you don't want the words "photo booth" in the name, those are the words the people most likely to buy from you will be searching for online.

I agree with your hypothesis but the lets say Memory box photo booth company will still have a photo box reference. I dont want that to be the main ingredient no argument on the problem with advertising.I actually like that name but iy id taken by another photo booth company.
