Need Advice For Choosing Between Two Jobs

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
Hi, I'm a fresh graduate in marketing and I have been offered two jobs, which I have to choose by tomorrow. I know it is a nice problem to have, but it's driving me nuts. I am seeking advice from experienced professionals, please help me make my choice.

Job 1:
Company Profile: Well established MNC specializing in marketing for many major brands and events.
Job Profile:
* Propose story lines
* Copy-writing, editing

Job 2: SME
Company Profile: Local SME
Job Profile:
* Manage social media platforms
* Work with creative agencies to develop collaterals

To be honest, I prefer the job profile in the SME. It pretty much covers the general job profile of marketing.

Job 2 is specializing in a component of marketing. But the idea of working for an established MNC and a big player in the marketing industry is really attractive.

Please advise!

Thanks!

    which offers more money? If they offer the same or a very similar amount, I would tend to select a larger company. You will learn more, you will have less risk, you will have a great line for your resume. We all get bitten my the entrepreneurial bug. but I would recommend that you get a stable first income, and after a couple years, consider doing something small and entrepreneurial and noncompeting on the side.
