Archiving Marketing Campaigns

I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on how to organize direct mail campaigns/sales materials/brochures. Specifically the assets of the campaigns. The actual brochure and or direct mail piece. We don't seem to have a good filing system and was searching for suggestions.

    I am a little confused. Are you just archiving to maintain a history, or do you have some other reason (such as you do many many campaigns or there is some legal requirement in your industry to archive)?

    We just keep the electronic files of all of our work and also a folder with printed copies.

    Project name. Format. Date. Each project sorted by client.
