We have each started and run successful businesses of different natures in another state, so we are used to be great problem solvers and very customer centric. We hold a very high regard for customer service.

Our focus is being women owned and operated, having integrity, tenacity, being skilled and professional, trustworthy and dependable.

We need help with our name and tagline !!

Who is likely to hire your services and why? Besides being women-owned, what do you offer that other businesses in your area don't/can't? We need to know more about your marketing plans to better help you create an on-target name and/or tagline.

Our target market are people preparing their homes to put on the market, real estate agencies, people who have homes that have been on the market but are not getting offers, homes need to be tweaked to help with getting offers, older woman/men who want a trusted professional, other women owned businesses, we want to fill a niche of doing small jobs, the area bigger hadyman businesses will not even call people back much of the time...

Because you listed the real estate part first, I am focusing on that.

If I were in your shoes I would conduct 6-8 information interviews with local realtors (and perhaps homeowners ready to sell) to find out how they currently approach home staging, who they turn to, what they expect the results to be, what it's worth, etc. How do they select people to help them with this? What are the relevant criteria for them? Etc.

If you do this well, you will get the information you need to name the company -- and a lot more. You may even make some very valuable contacts for your business. (Don't rush that part. Just ask your questions, listen carefully to their responses, and take detailed notes.)

Once you have conducted all the interviews, step back and review your notes. Pay particular attention to both their responses and the words they use to describe the core benefit they seek. If a name doesn't pop out immediately, share the word list with us (benefits, not features) and we'll come up with great name candidates.

That seems to imply that we primarily do staging, we want focus to be more handyman oriented .

    Appreciate the input though !

    Some ideas to play with:
    - Home Handywomen
    - Richmond Handywomen
    - Richmond Home Fixers

Of the 6 target audiences you listed, 4 of them were "home staging" related. I figured that meant you wanted to focus there. Your goal should be to define the narrowest audience you can -- one that you could afford to reach with your marketing resources and where you could actually capture a very high market share.
