How To Promote Newly Opened English Lang. School?

Hi All,

I am a business partner in a new English language school in Baku, Azerbaijan and I am responsible for marketing and promotion. This school has been open for about 6 months and is having trouble signing up new students. Only advertising tool is facebook ads.

What kind of effective ways do you advice as experts?

    A Facebook page can be very effective, but you need to post on it at least once a week and try to engage your audience. Provide updates, show pictures, ask questions. You should also have a webpage that's kept up to date, that provides answers to people's questions - price? why go there versus other schools? etc.

    And getting involved in the community, making a more visible presence, can help as well. Have the school get involved in community service projects and submit newspaper articles about the great things the school is doing for the students as well as the community.

    Who are you trying to attract? Where are they located? Why would they choose to attend your school instead of any of your competition's school? How do you know they're interested in your approach?

    Who exactly is your primary target audience? Why might they want to learn English? How will it help them or make their lives better? How are you different from, and better than, your competitors?
