Need A Call To Action (cta) For Investment Program

Posted by sb on 1050 Points
I need a call to action that will compel the reader after reading a whitepaper to our website to watch a webinar. This is for sophisticated investors, so my initial idea was:

To see if your eligible to invest in the [Firm Name] Family of Partnerships, please go to [www.website.com]

Thanks in advance.

If possible the CTA should be short/direct and include a benefit word/action verb. You have 16+ words in your CTA. Way too long.

It would also be good if you can pick up on the promise in your whitepaper and use that to ensure good message-match with the webinar. (Example: If you promise that someone can retire in style within 5 years, you might have the CTA say, "Start your 5-year plan now!" Etc.)

Trying to do this without specifics is all but impossible. You may want to get a professional copywriter involved.

It's important to understand how the webinar enhances the knowledge/skills you showcase in your whitepaper. What does the webinar offer that the whitepaper doesn't? Is the webinar available for immediate viewing or is there a "signup for the next event" experience? Is the webinar free? What's the CTA for the end of the webinar? If the lifetime value of a new client/customer is high, then a webinar may not be the right next step - you might want a more custom approach.

If you have your heart set on something like the line you gave, then it is good advice to shorten it somewhat; maybe like this-
Check your eligibility to invest with us at [www.website.com]

This offer isn't for everyone. To see if you qualify, watch this short
video! (<< the text "watch this short video" becomes the link to your WebSiteName.com)

There have already been some great comments, but I would also recommend adding the length of the video so that the user knows how much of a commitment they're making when clicking the CTA button.

For example: Watch this short 2min video for details on how to invest.
