Your Advice : Name For A Virtual Assistance Company

Posted by Colette on 250 Points
I am preparing to launch a virtual assistance company.
We will be offering services from website content management, email and digital marketing to strategic research/planning.
Our target market will be to small businesses who are looking to expand, virtually. We will be involved not only with creating an online presence but also building sound strategies to increase profitability.
We are leaning toward the name and tag line..

Elite Administration Consultancy
Service in a Snap!

I would appreciate any input on this and any other suggestions you may have.
Regards & Cheers!

Are your clients familiar with (and searching for) companies using the keywords "Virtual Assistant"? If so, consider including these words in your name (or tagline).
The name/tagline you're considering doesn't clarify what you offer, to who, with a unique benefit, etc. For example, are you simply saying "we're fast"? But what about "we're experienced, we're detail-oriented, we're affordable, we're trustworthy, etc." ? You mention you're offering more marketing-related services (rather than accounting, technical support, etc.). If that's so, then align your name with your specialty.

    Hello Jay :)
Thank you so much! As always a very thought provoking answer.
    Back to the drawing board.
I really like the idea of clarifying the tag name.

How does your background in yoga and fitness training prepare, position, and qualify you for success in the virtual assistance niche?

I'm asking this because the leap between where you are—fitness and yoga training—and where you want to go and be seen—offering services in website content management, email and digital marketing, and strategic research and planning—is a major shift in direction and may raise questions in the minds of potential clients of trust, authenticity, and belief.

    Hello Gary,
Good question! I own a successful web developing company for the past 5 years on Elance.
https://caitlin321.elance.com along with running a Chiropractor/Yoga therapy clinic for the past 20 years. I have a team of VA's that have been steadily working with me managing both locally and virtually all my venues. I am looking to direct my services to Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, Pilates, Yoga and Spa facilities.

In reply to Jay's comment above. What do you fella think of these names below for my VA company?

    Creative Online Management
    Innovative Online Management
    Online Management Services
    Online Management Strategies

I appreciate all your comments and suggestions :)

Colette, Jay makes a couple of valid observations. That's why I like that you are intending to focus on serving the DC, PT and physical professionals. Specialization is a very effective strategy.

I work with DC's and, as you know, they're not shy about asking for help to . . . "Get it Done!"

So while it's not overly sophisticated sounding, "Get It Done" will resonate with their pain point . . . because either something's not getting done or, it's not getting done the way they'd like. Regardless, there's your opportunity! So "Get it Done Virtual Assistants" could be an effective way to grab a prospective client's attention. It also addresses why someone might want what you can do for a client.

On a micro level, your tagline can help differentiate your firm from other VA's that aren't specializing in this marketplace. This can also help answer the "why you?" question. Something like "Helpful hands to build your practice and your brand"

Hope that's helpful in some way. Success to you in the next of your life!

    Hi Bill,

Thank you for the confirmation that we should narrow down our specialty. I agree, there is a great demand for DC & PT's to grow virtually but don't have the energy or time to do so.
I know from my experience with my husband (a D.C. and his partner P.T.).
I love the "Get it Done" and "Helpful Hands" concept. Very clever and direct.
Marketing Profs is such a life saver and all the advice I receive here is priceless!

Did you say that you work with DC's? May I ask how?
    Thank you again.

Hi Colette -- I help my clients, as a certified Duct Tape Marketing consultant, to build, implement and maintain a systematic approach to building their know, like and trust factor with prospects, clients and strategic alliances . . . and I outsource to VA's much of the work my clients need to (well) 'Get It Done'.

If you'd ever like to chat, I'd be happy to take your call. You might like to check out this page about a service that is very attractive to service professionals seeking to build relationships, referrals and revenues. https://bit.ly/1Fuuu3v. Cheers! Bill
