Need Help Naming A Weekly Newsletter

Posted by breanna.gunn on 50 Points
Hi, I need to create a name for my blog's newsletter. Here are the details...

I am a health and wellness blogger. I focus on all aspects of health, from weight loss to diet, and even some family issues (though not a lot).

I send out a weekly newsletter to update my subscribers about interesting articles, updates, and health-related content. I also offer life coaching as a service, though this will not be the primary focus of the newsletter.

Ideally, I would like to be able to have the format be simple: [Name] Issue #.

Thank you for your help and ideas!

What is the objective of the newsletter? What does success look like for you? How do you justify the investment of time and effort you'll put into this? Where will the payoff come from for you?

Who are your subscribers? Where? Why do they need/want a newsletter? What do you want the name to communicate?

What's the name of the blog? Shouldn't the newsletter carry, or coordinate with, the name of the blog?

Fantastic questions! Sorry I didn't answer them initially!

The objective is to share news and insight from my blog (www.breagettingfit.com) as well as related health and wellness blogs. I am launching a coaching platform in the coming months and this newsletter will be integral to that.

My subscribers are moms, mostly women 24-35. I have over a 25% open rate, and have had a great response to the current newsletters that I've sent out. However, these have just featured "additional" content, and I am going to be streamlining this process.

I want my updated newsletter to convey topic authority on health and wellness. I'm not particularly worried about marrying the two, as the name of the newsletter will be on the blog as a subscribe option.

Why not simply use a name that's connected to your business? For example "Fitter" or "Healthier" or "Live It Up"

Thanks! Sometimes the best answer is the most obvious :)
